- The fad requires minimal effort (example, Myspace Suicide)
- The fad requires taking random images and accompanying them with the given fad music (example, Best Day Ever).
- The fad features unoriginal material, (for example 500 lol stingray sites in the Steve Irwin fad).
Note that decent sites can be made from these fads given that they involve a lot of effort and/or creativity.
