From Wiki's British Shorthair article:

"In my assessment, the cat depicted is not a British Shorthair. It is most likely a domestic mix (domestic to Russia)."

British Shorthair, wtf?

Is there any evidence that Happycat is British Shorthair? It looks more like Russian Blue to me, after all it's a russian cat food company that is using happycat. Internet Is Serious Business. --Choclit Reihn. Some stay quiet, others SHOOP DA WHOOP. 07:33, October 1, 2007 (CDT)

its obvious that he's a british short hair just by visual inspection. follow these links to an image of both types of cats:

happy cat and the british shorthair have these important traits in common: shape of face, shape of ears, and eye color. whereas happycat and the russian blue don't. -- Mikeycomicsinc 10:33, October 1, 2007 (CDT)
