"O RLY?" "YA RLY! "NO WAI!"
A common superimposed sarcastic internet abbreviation of "Oh, really?" typically paired with a picture of a snowy owl. Also paired with a picture of a great horned owl with the caption "YA RLY." ("Yeah, really"). In some cases, "YA RLY" is followed by "NO WAI!!!" (No way!). The original version of the picture, the snowy owl with "O RLY?" at the bottom, originated on 4chan, as a response to posts that were difficult to believe or carried some skepticism. The picture became so popular that it, and its phrase, exploded across the net, spawning many variations on the original.
