SmittyJoe, though relatively unknown to the YTMND world, is known to himself, and since he is known to himself, he can't ignore himself. On the contrary, since nobody else knows that he knows that they know, they can ignore him, so he'll continue not knowing if they know. Since they know he doesn't know, that makes him invisible, and since he's invisible, he's slightly better than the average bear.
Break and Return
After achieving a good 10,000 voats, I took a little break from ytmnd, not planned, just kind of didn't go. Of course, after a long year of actually doing things with my life, I missed the old days, so I returned. Little did I know that ytmnd just about died with the departure of all the users that kept my life of ytmnd so blissful. I'm giving this murdertrain just about one more chance.
