The thwomp fad started as a forced fad by KKM. It was a based off a previous ytmnd by Gabu that showed a thwomp crashing down on a person playing a game of chess. The fad sites he created showed a thwomp crashing down on various fads. The fad began when some of KKM's thwomps sites were surprise sites that did not mention thwomp anywhere in it's url or title name. The fad is often one of the most difficult fads to search for since the majority of thwomp sites are surprise sites.
