A Thwomp crashing into a character, usually with the Super Mario Bros. 3 "thwomp" and Super Mario Bros. "death" sounds.
The thwomp fad started as a forced fad by KKM, showing a thwomp crashing down on various fads. The fad began when some of KKM's thwomps sites were surprise sites that did not mention thwomp anywhere in it's url or title name. The fad is often one of the most difficult fads to search for since the majority of thwomp sites are surprise sites.
