Ident

After the #ytmnd channel was flooded with botnets, the channel operators decided it was a good idea to ban ident, which has caused many newbs to irc to ask many questions on how to enable it. Since I have recieved NUMOROUS questions on how to enable ident I have decided to make this quick guide to enabling ident in mIRC.
1. Forward port 113 on your router 2. In mIRC options, click Identd 3. Check "Enable Identd Server" 4. Put something in the User ID box
Now you should be able to join #ytmnd. If not, you have done something wrong!
