George Washington (commonly abbreviated "GW") was a general during the American Revolution and later first President of the United States of America. YTMND user tkx7 created a site featuring George Washington from a G. Stuart painting and the song "Swingtown" by the Steve Miller Band. Tkx7 produced 9 sites on October 3, 2008. Although the first sites did not receive a large audience, the combination of the cut-out GW image and "Swingtown" has been used many times by other users.
