The image in this YTMND apparently was found in a 4chan thread, origin unknown. Kacen drew inspiration for it from two other YTMNDs originally made by Zeratul86, who similarly employed pictures from that thread.
Soon after it was sponsored, extremejon made an edit of it with happycat replacing the baboon entitled Don't look into its eyes!. It received Moderate popularity, but then he combined it with the Poland fad to create the page that kicked off the fad; You have forgotten for the last time!.
The fad always shows the Kitchen scene, with a dark, photoshopped face in the window, accompanied by Silent Hill music. The preloader is essential, as it provides the "Sting" of the scary image.
