The butt-racing fad typically uses stop motion animation to simulate one or more people racing while sitting on their butts. The sound most commonly used with the fad is Speedy Speed Boy, by Marko Polo, which is from the Initial D soundtrack.

The butt racing fad started when user joshawow created the site Butt Racing, a stop-motion site inspired by Asiacopter. However, the fad didn't take off until he posted ButtRacing Grand Prix a few days later.
