On April 9th, 2006, French football/soccer player Zinedine Zidane made history by headbutting an opposing Italian player (Marco Materazzi) in the chest during the 2006 FIFA World Cup final's extra time, after Materazzi allgedly uttered either a racial slur, called Zidane's sister a whore, or, according to The Guardian, tweaked his nipples. This got Zidane a red card after a whole 3 minutes of discussion between the players and the referee, and he was sent off the field. When walking past the World Cup trophy, he didn't even look at it. This World Cup was going to be the final thing in Zidane's football career, however, he chose to end it early.
