Max replied to the group stating their claims were groundless and nothing would happen to the YTMNDs. [2]
Later, Max included a new section on the YTMND main page called "Scientology™ YTMNDs" (™ is a reference to the name Scientology being a trademark), as well as a disclaimer stating "This website is in no way affiliated, sponsored or owned by the Church of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard, SeaOrg, Dianetics, volcanos or aliens of any sort. A number of YTMNDs claim to tell the truth behind Scientology, notably An Illustrated History of Scientology and The Un-Funny Truth About Scientology. On June 14, 2006 Max mentioned in a news bulletin that harrasing voice mails were sent to the lawyers of the Church; Max plans to hold those who made the messages accountable for their actions. [3] There has been no further contact from the Church as of June 23, 2006 and the section on the front page about Scientology has been removed. [4].
