The Newcomer fad started off when malemunyon edited some footage of the E3 Super Smash Brothers Brawl trailer with a 4chan image, and some of the trailer's audio with Team America audio, and combined them into a YTMND entitled "Samus Naked", when opened, Snake would pop out of a box and say "cockfags".
Soon many people started to make newcomer sites ranging from John Madden, to Richard Nixon, to the King of All Cosmos.
