Scientology™ is a fad that was flared up from a cease and desist order by the legal representatives of the Church of Scientology. The church asked for all Scientology related YTMNDs to be removed due to copyright and trademark infringments. Max replied to the group stating their claims were baseless and nothing would happen to the YTMNDs. Later, Max included a new section on the YTMND main page called "Scientology™ YTMNDs", as well as a disclaimer stating "This website is in no way affiliated, sponsored or owned by the Church of Scientology, L Ron Hubbard, SeaOrg, Dianetics, volcanos or aliens of any sort. We are, however, sponsored by Citizens for the Release of Xenu, a not-for-sanity organization."

Since then, many sites related to Scientology and Xenu have emerged, as well as a dramatic reading of the cease and desist order.
