Bill O'Reilly is a conservative commentator and host of "The O'Reilly Factor" on Fox News. He was also previously an anchor on "Inside Edition", where this fad originated.
Bill O'Reilly's Freakout
In an outtake of "Inside Edition" that emerged in May 2008, O'Reilly becomes increasingly agitated at the teleprompter, first because there are apparently no words on it, and then because he doesn't know what "to play us out" means. After attempting a few more takes, O'Reilly eventually screams that he'll "do it live" and that the "fucking thing sucks" before managing to get a decent take.
