I disagree that the spamming was strictly an attack.  People started spamming nasty stuff later, but at first it was just a joke.  It did get out of hand with the anti-religious spam, but the initial point was to STOP the fighting by spamming so hard no one could argue anymore.  At least, that was MY intention, I can't speak for others.  I wasn't attacking Whetstone personally, I was just making fun of the fighting.  [[User:HeatherChandler|HeatherChandler]] 15:25, October 9, 2006 (CDT)

I agree with what Heather's saying. Some of the spamming was also intended to parodize the looooooooong, unending response comments seemingly everyone was typing at one point. The spamming stemmed from the overkill of having multiple controversial YTMND's in the sponsor section with tons of serious comments and fighting. I remember one of the SEXY TRUCKS Heather posted preceded with the message "PUT THE SEXY TRUCK IN IF YOU NO LONGER GIVE A SH*T ABOUT THIS WHOLE THING AND INSTEAD CHOOSE ABSURDITY." That sums things up nicely.  --[[User:Nuroticat|Nuroticat]] 04:02, October 10, 2006 (CDT)
