NES is a fad involving taking an existing ytmnd fad or other subject from pop cuture and turning it into a bitmap pixel art image or NES game, usually including NES style music. The fad began with What is NES love?. Although there were other NES-themed ytmnds before it, this was the first of its kind to truly catch on. Currently, there is an NES version of almost all of the more popular fads.
