The Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch is the name of a chicken sandwich available at Burger King. The sandwich consists of a breaded, deep-fried chicken filet, lettuce, tomato, and mayonaise on a corn-dusted bun. The sandwich was promoted by a 2004 television advertising featuring recording artist Darius Rucker (of Hootie and the Blowfish) singing a country-style jingle to the tune of "Big Rock Candy Mountain." The song became popular and spawned the TenderCrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch fad where audio and/or video clips are altered to include the sandwich. A common abbreviation for the fad is "TCBCR"
It is often considered to be a dead fad; however, DarthWang still makes sites related to this fad to this date.
