McFly stole is a series of YTMND fad sites featuring Marty McFly. The original site was created by veteran user syncan and showed McFly on his hoverboard being chased by Future Conan for stealing a Butterfinger. It uses scenes from two different films: The background is from the film Time Bandits, which showed smoke coming down a hallway. The image of McFly was taken from the film Back to the Future Part II. Conan's face was placed in the smoke so it showed that Conan was a spirit hunting down McFly.
The site was very popular and yielded more than 75,000 views. It is often difficult to create spinoffs due to massive amount of photoshopping required.
The sound that accompanied the image was an excerpt from the song "Hey Boy Hey Girl" by the electronica group The Chemical Brothers. It is usually credited (incorrectly) as "Hey Girl, Hey Boy" in YTMND sites. The song was included on Volume 10 of the YTMND Soundtrack.
