I'm glad I discovered this article. I've been thinking about theories myself and trying to deduce how ratings come out the way they are. I ended up believing that the idea of the ytmnd far outweighs how much effort/skill there was in the image/sound edits. I also reasoned that something serious mixed with something funny makes up the best ytmnd idea. Look at the top rated sites, most of them have that. There are PCF/Sylvester's sites that find humor in war movies, Improviser found humor in the news, and so forth. You may be thinking that these ideas are obvious. Well, of course they are, and that's partly what makes them great. They're shockingly simple. [[User:Ochobobo|Ochobobo]] 21:44, February 26, 2007 (CST)
