Fish biscuit is a fad based on a scene from an episode of Lost in which the character Sawyer is being held prisoner in a cage. Sawyer figures out how to work some mechanisms in the cage, holding one lever while pegging one on the other side of the cage with a shoe, which causes a machine to play a song, declare "reward" and most importantly deliver him food—a biscuit shaped like a fish.
One of his imprisoners, Tom, walks up to the cage at that point and says, "Hey, you got yourself a fish biscuit. How'd you do that?" The fad generally incorporates this line, and occasionally some other dialogue, including Sawyer's answer that he had figured out their "gizmo", and Tom's observation that it "only took the bears two hours" to figure out the same thing, and his offer, "bring you some antiseptic later".
The "fish biscuit" in the show appeared to be a large, very hard biscuit in the shape of a fish—seemingly designed for a large animal to eat, but some YTMNDs use a rather disgusting image of an actual whole fish partially wrapped in a pastry.
