The Osaka Shoe Kick is the most popular fad to feature the character Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. It comes from an episode of the anime in which Osaka kicks her shoe off in order to forecast the weather. In the anime, the shoe is carried off by a fast-moving truck. The sites replace the truck with other outcomes. The first major site was actually part of the Thwomp fad.
