The Holy crap fad was first created by CDawg82191 on 4/26/06 and at first was just a blank, white screen with a period portrayed as a meteor. After people started commenting on the site, a background was added. It went through many edits and is finally as it is now. This fad / effect is only possible on YTMND due to the sites use of 3D ascii text.
