The You forgot Poland YTMNDs are satirical references to George W. Bush's unanticipated retort to John Kerry during the 2004 Presidential Electoral Debate. John Kerry had omitted Poland as a member of the "coalition" participating on the War on Terror (whether or not this was intentionally is debated).
This type YTMND is quickly becoming popular; Bush Jr. parodies are becoming more prominent on YTMND. The large amount of "Bushisms" makes him an easy target for audio manipulation. But because the amount of time since the original retort is becoming larger, the popularity of this particular Bushism is waning.
The original YTMND was posted by deevo in October of 2004. Since then, very few quality "Forgot Poland" YTMNDs have been created.
