Vegeta

Vegeta is a villian and later anti-hero from the anime series DragonBallZ, as known for his arrogance as for his fighting skill. He uses a device called a scouter to measure the power level of opponents in advance of a fight. In one episode, he angrily and excitedly yells out that that an opponents' power level is "OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND!!", crushing the scouter in his hand as he does so.
This quote has formed the basis of a fad in which Vegeta yells about various things, such as his telephone bill, the national debt, or the price of a PS3, being "over 9000".
