:I just found [http://tango-project.org/Tango_Icon_Theme_Guidelines this] ([http://tango-project.org/skins/tango/main.css CSS], which seems to be exactly what we're looking for. I didn't even know it was MediaWiki until I saw the Table of Contents and then scrolled down to find the Powered by MediaWiki logo. This is one that completely breaks free of the monobook framness, and although it is based on monobook, it shows that it *is* possible to mod the skin to our tastes. If only I could find someone who knows monobook.... Eh, I'll try back at WP, perhaps? -[[User:Mysekurity/sig|Mysekurity]] | [[User talk:Mysekurity|talk]] 21:03, 24 May 2006 (CDT)

Clone of YTMND

We should clone stuff from YTMND's css, and make the site look better that way. Sure, a wiki is bound to have a different look, but this shouldn't look like Wikipedia (for a number of reasons). -Mysekurity | talk 21:20, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

Exactly what I was thinking. I only put that "YTMND wiki" thing as a temp image. It should be easy to convert the layout into YTMND's. But we'll have to do a lot of stuff to override Monobook's styles. --LBMixPro 21:55, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
Can you get the gold marker that tells us what tab we're looking at to be red? And the background of the sidebar and top to be gray? Sorry for failing at life... -Mysekurity | talk 16:35, 22 May 2006 (CDT)
I was thinking about matching the tabs to be the same colors as YTMND's user profile tabs. Isn't the background of the sidebars already gray? --LBMixPro 16:44, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

Examples

Try this, this, this or this (which all require Localsettings.php acess). -Mysekurity | talk 21:23, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

I just found this (CSS), which seems to be exactly what we're looking for. -Mysekurity | talk 21:03, 24 May 2006 (CDT)
