While Mario Kart does not stand as a fad on its own, it is a often referenced in other fads. Fads which include a Mario Kart spinoff include butt racing, Hobo-Cruise, and HalfNakedGuyRunningAroundWithASpearYelling.
Probably the most famous use of Mario Kart in a fad would be stratos-the-bratos's Hobo-Cruise vs. Mario & Toad. This YTMND stayed on the Top 5 Rated for many weeks, and its music, "Mario Ciruit Final Lap," was subsequently included in Volume 10 of the YTMND Soundtrack.
