Lee Kaplan is an undercover "inveistigative joiurnalist" and a contributor to Front Page Magazine. He is also a regular columnist for the Israel National News and Canada Free Press, a senior intelligence analyst, and comunications director for the Northeast Intelligence Network.

On June 11, 2006, user prettypedantic submitted a site called Lee Kaplan is a douchebag. Mr. Kaplan was filled with rancor at the offending site and issued a letter to Max trying to intimidate him with yet another litigious threat if he did not pull the site.
Mr. Kaplan wrote My brother is a powerful litigating attorney and if I have to bring my family into suing you, I will. However I am asking you amicably to remove the entire entry or delete the "douchebag" comment that is entirely vulgar and serves no purpose other than to smear me on the Internet.
As a result, Max wrote in a news post "how to not get a site deleted", stating his reasons for refusing Kaplan's demand. As with most legal threats against the site, YTMNDers began creating retaliation sites, one of the most prominent is MasterSitsu's "King of Douche", a parody of the royalty of gay GAYTMNDs.
