SonOfPrince has recently stated in a pm that "I want the fad to show up in poland sites too" and that he got the idea wathing "Chocolate With Nuts" on the Nicktoons Network during 1:34 a.m. Another user had made a site similar to it before SonOfPrince but with poor image and sound quality. He and SonOfPrince were angry at each other at first but then became friends and forgot about it.

Worthy spinoffs:
This page is about the fad based on Spongebob Squarepants. If you were looking for the fad based on the Ray Nagin quote, see Chocolate New Orleans. For the fad based on the Tay Zonday song, see Chocolate Rain.

The Chocolate fad features Tom, a fish from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Chocolate With Nuts" who went crazy over chocolate when SpongeBob and Patrick offered him some. Normal sites usually involve chocolate when Tom's head appears. The real first site was Metal Gear Chocolate which was created over a year before the site, CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, that started the fad.

This fad currently has the distinction of being the inspiration for the seventh-highest ranked YTMND of all time. As of August 28, 2012, It's Good! Want Some? (which edits Tom into a scene from the World War II film Windtalkers where a U.S. soldier is shot after he pulls out a chocolate bar) has a score of 4.76, placing it easily within the top ten.
