The 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 fad started after the news that the MPAA is censoring this key by sending take-down notices to websites containing this key. Later Digg got involved because of the fact that they were removing dugg articles containing the key and were banning members for it. In response of this, thousands of members started spamming the key in the comments and submitting articles containing the key[http://weblog.timoregan.com/uploaded_images/digg-gets-pwned-731266.gif]. Digg is sponsored by the HD-DVD Promotion Group[http://dturnbull.newsvine.com/_news/2007/05/01/695950-digg-fights-user-revolt-over-hd-dvd-ban-digg-founders-took-hd-dvd-sponsorship]. Later the main owner of Digg posted on his blog that the Digg staff will stop banning members and removing dugg articles containing the key[http://blog.digg.com/?p=74].
